Sberbank RAS Dec net profit up to 56 bln rbl from 52 bln rbl y/y
MOSCOW, Jan 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank rose to 55.9 billion rubles from 52.2 billion rubles a year ago in December, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank said in a report on Wednesday.
Loans to retail clients grew 17.4% in the period to 7.244 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate loans fell 1.8% to 13.33 trillion rubles.
Retail deposits with the bank rose 4.5% from January through 2019 to 13.6 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate deposits decreased 4.7% to 6.7 trillion rubles.
For the whole of 2019 the net profit rose by 11.2% to 870.1 billion rubles.
